- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have a special needs boy who was scheduled for a 0630 appointment. After explaining to him several times that he needed to be fasting and withholding his medications, we set out to the clinic. It was over an hour wait to have his vitals taken. After answering a few questions from the nurse, it was decided that they needed hospital records for my son dating back 7 years. I was assured that someone was working on it, and they would call me back as quickly as they could. After another hour went by, I called the hospital myself. They had no idea we needed records and could not produce them for another 2+ hours, given they were too old to be in their computer system. I asked to reschedule the appointment and was told someone would call me. I have yet to hear back. This was after a 7 month journey just to get the appointment set in the first place.
